Five times daily, all dogs are taken out in supervised groups
to enjoy the 8200 square foot fenced yard. Two of these playtimes are a minimum of 30 minutes each.

5 x 20 foot covered outdoor run.

Each dog staying at Camrose Kennels gets his or her own 4 x 5 foot indoor heated room, (with skylights for natural light) free access through a doggy door leads to their 5 X 20 foot outdoor run covered to protect it from inclement weather. Each run is double latched for security.

FOOD PROVISION

Individual storage bins.

At check-in, each dog is assigned an individual bin to safely store extra food, and any extra belongings required during their stay. Please bring a small bed or blanket for your dog or vari kennel if that is their bed at home, and a couple of favourite toys.

All owner instructions for care, food, and medication are carefully recorded on the central message board.We are happy to give your pets medication or supplements at no extra charge.

All pets are provided bottled water which is topped up frequently during the day.

All rooms are cleaned daily with an ezyme cleaner and throughout the day as needed.

After each pet leaves the walls and floors of their room is scrubbed down with a disinfectant.

TIMID DOGS & SPECIAL NEEDS

Dogs with special needs or timid dogs have a special place at Camrose Kennels. A more intimate facility, separate from the larger kennel and conveniently located adjacent to our residence for closer monitoring, has been developed for dogs that prefer their solitude or have special needs.
The same excellent standards of care with exercise 5 times daily. And individual heated indoor room with doggy door access to their own covered outdoor run.

This service is available at no extra charge - space is limited and subject to availability and evaluation of pet.

Note: we find that many timid dogs, with a little extra encouragement, require only a couple days to settle in at Camrose Kennels and derive benefits from socializing with other dogs such as gaining tremendous self-confidence.
